The Lake are Not folding.
Sir Simon Williams is resingning as manager. There is a meeting on Wednsday night to speak about the future of the club. The club are looking for a replacment. We just need the players to stay together and have faith in what people behind the seens are doing to try and keep this club alive!!!
And i would like to thank Sir Simon Williams for everything he has put in to the club. Without that man, the club would have folded ages ago.Thank you Mr Williams. You will be missed around the club.

Christ, it is all going on down here. So it does finally seem that the Welshpool trio (not Scott Roberts?) will be leaving, supposedly to a bigger club but I won't comment on that.
Everyone should now just forget about the whole thing and look forward to next season. If anyone is at all upset at their decision then I'm sure they'll get at least 2 opportunities to play against them next season and maybe show them "the error of their ways".
Personally, I was friends with them all and these kind of things happen, in the grand scheme of things I think the effect of it will be minimal.
Thursday night @XXXX let's put in a performance and get this season started.

1st of all i havnt lwkd 4 a club, they came lwkin 4 me. The lake are in the bottom league in wales so there are obviously bigger and better clubs. Im only leavin msgs on the guestbook page so every1 nos wots goin on. In case u need remindin i playd in a final 4 the lake as captain and i liftd the trophy so its a stupid comment 2 make bawt sweatin blood and all that shit. in all fareness lee didnt start all this whole business and its not realy "disrespectful" to say there are bigger clubs out there and he may have contacted them but if they didnt want him then surely they wud have said so a team aint guna sign a player if they dnt want them . im not trying to have an argument with any1 just my views and still no1 will put a name on there messages ???

I must agree with the bloke whos mentioned those lads who have sweated blood for the club, i watched some of the games and followed the success of the club since simon has taken over from steve barrett and watched him put a bright young hungry side together who i thought would emulate the sides and teams who have won cups and turned sides over in the past. Si has got plenty of youth and put some experience in wheres needed and trusts his lads. I think stability is needed and lads who want to stay fight for each other and not let lads blame being tapped up a rason to leave. "Bigger clubs" only tap up players who stand out not ones who talk the talk and think they are leaders when they are not. Captains are lads who stand up in cup semi finals and finals with blood and sweat seeping out of them like Emyr Jones did. Simon will get it right and will put faith in a new blend of youth. In simon we trust.
